Our Local Hospitals:
In March, 2006, Crain & Schooley Insurance Brokers Ltd. generously gifted $34,490 toward the redevelopment of the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital’s Smiths Falls site. The money represents a corporate pledge as well as staff donations through payroll deduction or a one-time gift. Read more about it in the Crain & Schooley News. Over the past five years, Crain & Schooley Insurance Brokers has donated $5,000 over to assist the Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital in replacing needed medical equipment. In 2003 Crain & Schooley also donated $1000 to the CPDMH Foundation towards the Brick by Brick campaign organized to replace the Hospital’s roof, windows and elevator.

Additionally, Crain & Schooley has also made commitments to hospitals in other communities were they are located. These hospitals are the Kemptville District Hospital, and the hospitals in Almonte, Perth and Smiths Falls, all of which are also involved in fundraising campaigns.

Sports Teams:
Crain & Schooley annually sponsors a number of soccer and softball teams in the Perth area.

Community Foundations:
Crain & Schooley believe in the efforts of local community foundation groups, such as the newly developed Perth and District Community Foundation. These Foundations provide a focus for those who want to make a lasting contribution to their community.

Community Festivals and Events:
Volunteer driven community events are the life - blood of any community, and Crain & Schooley Insurance Brokers Ltd. has been proud to be part of many of them including: Garlic Festival, Stewart Park Festival, Beckwith Heritage Days, Authors in the Park, Festival of the Maples, local fairs, Art Fusion Festival, Santa Claus parades, and so much more.
